BACKGROUND
Sree is a Senior Quantity Surveyor and QS Manager with 18+ years of global experience delivering complex, multi-residential and community-scale projects across New Zealand, Qatar, and the UAE. He brings a proven track record of managing cost, risk, and procurement across high-volume residential programmes - including social and community housing - with a strong emphasis on transparency, financial rigour, and open communication with clients and stakeholders. Sree began his career on major international infrastructure and residential projects in Qatar and the UAE before relocating to New Zealand, where he completed his Master of Construction Management at AUT. He has since held senior and lead QS roles across well-known residential builders, most recently spending over seven years at Fletcher Living leading cost management across a broad portfolio of multi-residential developments - including community housing delivered in partnership with Kainga Ora.
He joined Precision Construction in January 2026 as QS Manager for Delivery. Sree specialises in cost planning, cash flow forecasting, procurement, and contract administration. He is known for driving financial accuracy and transparency, standardising QS processes, and working collaboratively across project teams to ensure clients are well-informed and confident at every stage. He has experience working under open-book and negotiated procurement models, and places strong emphasis on mentoring and building high- performing QS teams. Outside of work, Sree enjoys travelling, playing badminton, and photography.
