BACKGROUND

Mike was born and raised in Auckland and was a prefect at Saint Kentigern College.  Following college, Mike completed a Diploma in Marketing at AUT.

Mike moved to Sydney in 2010 and completed a Postgrad in Project Management at Sydney University, which secured him into role within a high-end construction company in Sydney.

This is where Mike fell in love with the pace, energy and excitement of the building and construction industry.

After moving back to New Zealand, Mike started working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor at Precision Construction in 2017, and then moved into a management role, overseeing all QS functions across all our Divisions – Residential Developments, Residential Homes and Custom Projects.

With the continued growth of the Company, Mike has now moved to a manager role dedicated to the Tendering and Preconstruction stage of the Project Lifecycle.  Mike leads a team of QS who are responsible these phases including tendering, pricing and procurement.

Mike is dedicated to his work and has a vast knowledge of all aspects relating to the construction process.  His skill set includes an ability to manage his team and communicate efficiently with a wide range of people.  

Outside of work, Mike is a father of two children and has interests in hockey, squash, and sevens, and of course the family life.
