BACKGROUND
Cameron is a highly experienced construction professional with extensive site delivery experience and a strong foundation in preconstruction, including design review, consultant coordination, and regulatory approvals. He has managed complex multi-unit residential developments and liaised closely with consultants, clients, and stakeholders.
Cameron qualified as a carpenter and spent his first decade working on residential and commercial projects across New Zealand, Canada, France, and London, before running his own contracting business in Mallorca, Spain, delivering full interior renovations and roof terraces. He first joined Precision Construction in 2020 as a Site Manager, running high-volume multi-unit residential sites and taking charge of the company’s largest standalone project at the time. He managed up to 80 people on site and consistently delivered on time and under budget. Since then, he has managed commercial and multi-unit residential projects with other builders, most recently as Senior Site Manager on a 43-unit, 22- million-dollar Kāinga Ora partnership development of apartments and terrace houses, delivered on time and under budget.
Across these roles Cameron has led design reviews to identify buildability and cost-optimisation opportunities, contributed to tender methodology and programming, coordinated council and regulatory approvals, and liaised with clients and consultants through design and construction. He is now moving into a dedicated preconstruction role, where he brings his practical construction knowledge to optimising project setup and delivery.
Cam is a keen surfer who also loves camping and hiking and makes the most of time with his family.
