Shalene brings over 25 years’ experience in business advisory, board and governance roles; including Board Chair & trustee roles, business ownership, and advisory roles specialising in driving change in high growth companies with strong interfaces between board and senior leadership teams.

Since 2016, Shalene has worked as a Director and Board Chair for Precision Construction – overseeing strong growth underpinned by sound financial performance and market leading customer delivery.

In today’s highly competitive construction sector - where risk management and governance are necessary in building and sustaining stakeholder confidence, as Chair Shalene plays an independent role ensuring that the business and its projects are run within sound commercial frameworks that provide for strong fiscal management, the health and safety of its people and meeting customer expectations to the highest standard.
